Title : Approximation of a coupled diffusion convection problem
Summary: The transport of species by a fluid whose viscosity is highly dependent on composition leads to a coupled system known for its unsteadiness (Peaceman’s problem). The study of different schemes for its discretization shows the need to take into account digital broadcasting and the choice of the grid when using upstream decentralization. The presentation will focus on a general approach to stabilize the numerical scheme, comparing in particular the CVFE method and a finite difference type scheme.
