The first two days were dedicated to technical discussions with 5 invited presentations (3 by French researchers and 2 by Japanese researchers) and the work of the 7 working groups which have been defined previously.
The 3rd day was dedicated to the discussions around standards of behavior in cyberspace, questions of international rights and cyber strategy.
This day was also an opportunity to 3 plenary lectures (two Japanese and one French). The themes of discussions on the third day are recent in the context of Franco-Japanese collaboration and will have to take a more important place in the following cooperation. During the 3 days several panels were organized, the most notable of which were: one on the enforcement of artificial intelligence issues and in particular machine learning in the
cybersecurity and transparency of algorithms, as well as a panel on the Olympic Games organized by Japan in 2020 and by France in 2024.
The workshop allowed to discuss the latest advances and cooperation between France and Japan on the fundamental problem of the security of information system. Social events (dinner, lunches, etc.) organized during the event built networking spaces that will allow the emergence of new collaborations in the future. The steering committee of Franco-Japanese cooperation in cybersecurity also met in full on this occasion and a public working session allowed to take stock of all the current working groups.
The main decisions and direction taken were as follows:
– involvement of Prof. Kavé Salamatian as new member of the steering committee.
Its composition is as follows:

o Nakao Koji <ko-nakao@nict.go.jp>

o Okada Mitsu <mitsu@abelard.flet.keio.ac.jp>

o Murai Jun <jun@wide.ad.jp>

o Cappé Olivier <olivier.cappe@cnrs-dir.fr>

o Kirchner Claude <claude.kirchner@inria.fr>

o Kirchner Helene <helene.kirchner@inria.fr>

o Nguyen Phong <phong.nguyen@ens.fr>

o Salamatian Kavé <kave.salamatian@univ-savoie.fr>

The themes of the working groups have been adapted to better adapt the priority topics and skills of the people involved.
