The problem is that some required libraries and frameworks (especially VisIt) may take a lot of time to be installed and configured. Thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docker.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Docker technology<\/a>, in <a href=\"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/damaris\/download\/\">version 1.1.0<\/a>, we have automated the environment preparation process. This means that you can have a Linux environment with Damaris and all of its required libraries ready in 1-2 hours.
