WP4 – Definition and realization of multi-reconfigurable systems allowing the implementation of the dual command

WP4 concerns the design, the realisation and the measurements of devices controlled by the two types of control envisaged in DATERAC, namely reconfigurable elements based on one side on an electrical control and on the other on an optical control to modify the characteristics of calchogenide glasses.

The different tasks identified in this WP are the following:

  • Bibliography of multi-control systems
  • Design and synthesis of multi-reconfigurable systems
  • Realization and characterization of the demonstrators

In order to reach the objectives of this WP, exchanges have already taken place between the different partners. It is indeed necessary to master all the stages of the technological process which will lead to the dual electrical and optical control of the demonstrators. It will thus be necessary to coordinate the steps of doping the silicon substrate (carried out at GREMAN) with the steps of deposition of chalcogenide glass (carried out at ISCR) and the metallization of the devices. It will also be necessary to ensure the compatibility of the different technologies and to avoid any pollution.

A global reflection at the level of the DATERAC project will also be necessary to define the different demonstrators to be developed. This reflection will be done in connection with the results obtained in the previous WPs.
