Please note that the number of slots is limited to around 80, so every participation request may not be fulfilled. Priority will be given to participants with a strong interest at the interface between graphics and physics, with a balance between young and senior researchers, and favouring diversity among represented laboratories.
Call for contributions
Like for Graphyz2, Graphyz3 will include sessions dedicated to contributed oral presentations. The goal is to foster discussions and collaborations by showing ongoing work of interest to both communities.
Upon registration, you will be given the option to submit a title and a few lines of abstract. Abstracts will be selected based on their interest to a mixed (computer graphics and physics/mechanics) audience. There is no obligation for the presenter to have a record of published work at the intersection of these two fields. Student presentations are warmly encouraged. Both single and duet presentations (one computer scientist/one physicist or mechanical engineer) are welcome.
Many topics are welcome, such as those in this (non-exhaustive) list:
- computational architecture, structural mechanics
- slender bodies: rods, ribbons, plates and shells
- textiles
- granular and fibrous materials
- programmable matter
- robotics
- biological applications (plants, locomotion)
- sports
- pictural arts and music
- …
Submitting a contribution is only optional and not mandatory for registering to the event.
