Registration and call for submission of contributed talks is now <strong>open<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sondages.inria.fr\/index.php\/212332?lang=en\">https:\/\/sondages.inria.fr\/index.php\/212332?lang=en<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please note that the number of slots is limited to around 80, so every participation request may not be fulfilled. Priority will be given to participants with a strong interest at the interface between graphics and physics, with a balance between young and senior researchers, and favouring diversity among represented laboratories.<\/p>\n<h2>Call for contributions<\/h2>\n<p>Like for Graphyz2, Graphyz3 will include sessions dedicated to contributed oral presentations. The goal is to foster discussions and collaborations by showing ongoing work of interest to both communities.<\/p>\n<p>Upon registration, you will be given the <em>option<\/em> to submit a title and a few lines of abstract. Abstracts will be selected based on their interest to a mixed (computer graphics and physics\/mechanics) audience. There is no obligation for the presenter to have a record of published work at the intersection of these two fields. Student presentations are warmly encouraged. Both single and duet presentations (one computer scientist\/one physicist or mechanical engineer) are welcome.<\/p>\n<p>Many topics are welcome, such as those in this (non-exhaustive) list:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>computational architecture, structural mechanics<\/li>\n<li>slender bodies: rods, ribbons, plates and shells<\/li>\n<li>textiles<\/li>\n<li>granular and fibrous materials<\/li>\n<li>programmable matter<\/li>\n<li>robotics<\/li>\n<li>biological applications (plants, locomotion)<\/li>\n<li>sports<\/li>\n<li>pictural arts and music<\/li>\n<li>\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"style-chat-msg-3PAzJ\">\u00a0Submitting a contribution is only optional and not mandatory for registering to the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--\nThe Graphyz event is free (no registration fee). Note however that due to organizational constraints, the number of registration slots will be limited (first-come first-served basis). So if you wish to attend, plan early!\n\nCurrent status: The number of registrations has reached in a few days the maximum number of slots fixed for the event!
