Fabio Borges, Director of LNCC, visited Inria Paris center on November 25, 2024, with meetings with Inria Management and Inria teams.
Perspectives for Inria-Brasil partnership were discussed with Inria CEO, Bruno Sportisse, Inria Deputy Director for Science, Jean-Frédéric Gerbeau and Inria Scientific Director of Inria-Brasil program, Patrick Valduriez, with the objectives to foster the links between French and Brazilian academia, to incentive projects with industry and new European projects and to develop further more the links with Paris center of expertise in the frame of GPAI (Global Partnership for AI) governance dedicated to international cooperation.
LNCC Director also met members of Inria teams working on AI and Quantum Computing: Bruno Blanchet (PROSECCO team), Alain Sarlette (QUANTIC team), Gael Varoquaux (SODA team), Patrick Valduriez (IROKO team).
Software Heritage initiative was also presented by Benoit Chauvet, William Sellier and David Douard.
