Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ): one of the largest engineering research and teaching centers in Latin America. The collaborations with Inria are mainly in the fields of HPC, data science and scientific computing.

Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF): this public higher education institution is located in Niteroi and others cities of the state of Rio de Janeiro. It is considered one of the main centers of excellence in Brazil. The collaborations with Inria are mainly in the fields of HPC, AI and data science.

 

São Paulo

Universidade de São Paulo (USP): it is the largest Brazilian public university, the country’s most prestigious educational institution and the best university in Ibero-America. The collaborations with Inria are mainly in the fields of applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, stochastic and statistics analysis.

Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP): it is one of the six public universities of the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The main collaborations with Inria deal with applications in the health sector.

Universidade de Campinas (Unicamp): this public research university in the state of São Paulo conducts joint projects with Inria for the most part applied to transportation systems.

 

Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos (UFSC): this university located in the state of São Paulo collaborates with Inria in the fields of theoretical computer science and algorithms.

 

Minas Gerais

Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Minas Gerais (PUC MG): this private and non-profit Brazilian Catholic university in Belo Horizonte (state of Minas Gerais) mainly conducts joint projects with Inria in the field of image and multimedia data processing.

Universidade de Brasilia (UnB): this federal public university collaborates with Inria in applications in the health sector.

 

Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG): this publicly funded university located in Goiânia is the only federally funded institution of higher education in the state. The collaborative research with Inria is in the field of computer networks, in particular 5G networks.

 

Bahia

Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA): this public university mainly located in the city of Salvador collaborates with Inria on cyber-physical systems.

Paraïba

Universidade Federal de Paraïba (UFPB): this public university whose main campus is located in the city of Joao Pessoa collaborates with Inria in the fields of applied mathematics and computer vision.

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS): it is based in Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul. This university is among the largest and highest-rated universities in Brazil, having one of the largest numbers of scientific publications. Most of joint projects between UFRGS and Inria are in the field of data science.

Universidade Federal do Paraná (UTFPR):  this public university is headquartered in Curitiba, in the Federal State of Paraná. The collaboration with Inria is mainly in the field of computer networks, in particular 5G networks.

 

Ceará

Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC): it is a federal university with campuses in the cities of Fortaleza, Sobral, Barbalha, Russas, Quixadá and Crateús, in the state of Ceará. The collaboration with Inria is mainly in the field of computer networks and parallel systems.

 

Rio Grande do Norte
