Post-Doctoral Fellowship Opportunity 2021

In 2021, Inria offers 1 Post-Doc fellowship in the framework of CWI-Inria International Lab.

 

The NEW deadline for the application is August 15th, 2021.

 

Candidates interested in the projects currently supported are welcome to submit their application to a post-doctoral fellowship. Candidates are strongly encouraged to get in touch with the PIs of these projects, either at CWI, or at Inria.

Applications:
Applications within the CWI-Inria collaboration must be submitted to postdoc-dri@inria.fr before July 10, 2021 with all of the following documents:

  • the completed summary sheet
  • Research project including subject title, research program, work plan and planned visits during the post-doc, the duration of the post-doc (between 12 and 24 months) and the desired starting date (default start date is November 1st, 2021 and not later than January, 1st 2022)
  • Detailed CV with a description of the PhD and a complete list of publications with the two most significant ones highlighted
  • Motivation letter from the candidate
  • 2 letters of recommendations
  • Letters of support from the host Inria research team and from the host international partner
  • Passport copy

Modalities:

  • Candidates pre-selected by the teams will be assessed by the International Relations Department and evaluated by scientific experts. The funding is granted by Inria International Relations Department.
  • Post-Doc contracts have a duration of 12 to 24 months. The default start date is November 1st, 2021 and not later than January, 1st 2022.

EU Marie Curie ITN Network: POEMA

POEMA: Polynomial Optimization, Efficiency through Moments and Algebra

The project is funded under the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2018 call and is part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions — Innovative Training Networks (ITN) funding scheme.

A new grant for an EU Marie Curie ITN Network: ALPACA

The research group included ERABLE project (European Research team in Algorithms and Biology, formaL and Experimental) at Inria (Marie France Sagot) and Life Science group at CWI (Stougie, Pissis) were awarded with other partners an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN) consortium grant for ALPACA (Algorithms for PAngenome Computational Analysis).

The research project will run for four years, and it involves a total funding of 3.67 million euros. The network will train 14 PhD researchers, including one at CWI. The project started in January 2020.

CWI-Inria annual workshop 2020


The next annual CWI-Inria workshop will take place on September 24th 2020. Due to the health situation related to COVID-19 , the workshop will be held online.

We are pleased to announce the publication of the 2021 call for proposals for the Inria Associate Teams program.
