\"\"<\/a>After an academic career spanning more than four decades in the area of distributed computing, Michel Raynal<\/strong> will be retiring at the end of the academic year 2016-2017.<\/p>\n

In order to celebrate Michel’s long career and many contributions to the community of distributed algorithms, Inria, IRISA, ISTIC and ESIR are pleased to invite you to an International Workshop on Distributed Computing in the honor of Michel Raynal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scheduled on Friday 5th May 2017, the one-day workshop will feature presentations by distinguished researchers from the field of distributed computing including Leslie Lamport<\/strong> (Microsoft Research, USA), Maurice Herlihy<\/strong> (Brown University, USA), Sergio Rajsbaum<\/strong> (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Mexico), Yoram Moses<\/strong> (The Technion, Israel), Achour Most\u00e9faoui<\/strong> (University of Nantes, France),\u00a0Carole Delporte<\/strong> (University Paris Diderot), and Rachid Guerraoui<\/strong> (EPFL, Switzerland).<\/p>\n

Participation to the event (including lunch) is free<\/strong><\/span>, but registration is compulsory<\/a>.
\nThe deadline to register is April 26<\/strong><\/span> 24<\/del>.<\/p>\n
