Practical informations

The MOKA10 will take place at  Campus Mines in Fontainebleau next to the royal castle from the 4th June afternoon to the 6th June morning. Here is a map:

A bike storage is available at Bât. S

We will cover expenses concerning the accommodation and meals (except Tuesday dinner). Travel expenses must be financed by participants, except for PhD and postdoc students.

  • Accommodation. Rooms are booked for all participants either at Hotel Victoria or at Hotel Richelieu. Check-in is possible after 2pm for Hôtel Victoria, after 3pm for Hôtel Richelieu.
  • Meals. A buffet is organized for lunch on the 4th for those arriving early, and regular lunches are planned on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Transportation (probably optimal). Fontainebleau is easily reachable from Paris (Gare de Lyon) by train and bus : train R from Gare de Lyon to Fontainebleau – Avon, then bus 1 to stop Saint-Honoré (a bus roughly every 15 minutes, see timetable). There is also a group of people organising a bucolic trip by bike to Fontainebleau from Paris; if you want to join them let us know and we will keep you in contact.
  • Social dinner. It will take place in a restaurant Wednesday evening ; if you think you will not be able to come, please tell us in advance.
