Speakers 2019

The 2019 edition features the following speakers.

Afra Alishahi is an associate professor in the Department of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University. Francis Bach is a researcher at Inria, where he heads the SIERRA research team, and an adjunct professor at École Normale Supérieure.
Justine Cassell is Associate Dean for Technology Strategy and Impact in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Alejandrina Cristià is a CNRS research director in the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique at ENS.
Alexei Efros is a professor at EECS Department at UC Berkeley, where he is part of the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Lab. Martial Hebert is the Dean of the School of Computer Science and a Professor of Robotics  at Carnegie Mellon University.
Vipin Kumar is a Regents Professor at the University of Minnesota, where he holds the William Norris Endowed Chair in the Department of CSE. Jean-Paul Laumond is a CNRS research director in the computer science department at ENS, and a member of the Inria Willow research team.
Yann LeCun is VP and Chief AI Scientist at Facebook, and Silver Professor of Computer Science, Data Science, Neural Science, and Electrical Engineering at NYU. Stéphane Mallat is a Professor at Collège de France and École normale Supérieure.
Alison Noble is Technikos professor of Biomedical Eng., and Associate Head of the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division at the University of Oxford. Niels Peek is a Professor of Health Informatics at the MRC Health eResearch Centre at the University of Manchester.
Patrick Pérez is Scientific Director of valeo.ai, a Valeo AI research lab focused on automotive applications. Cordelia Schmid is a research director at Inria Grenoble – Rhône-Alpes in the Thoth research team.
Lenka Zdeborova is researcher at CNRS working in the Institute of Theoretical Physics in CEA Saclay, France.
