The resulting mesh was used to run\u00a0one of the most accurate simulations ever computed using the LES\u00a0method, related to the study of combustion in a helicopter turbine\u00a0chamber, for Safran Helicopter Engines.<\/p>\n<p>These works were partly funded\u00a0by project ELCI (&#8220;Environnement Logiciel pour le Calcul Intensif&#8221;) of\u00a0the Programme d&#8217;Investissements d&#8217;Avenir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The PaMPA software, coupled with MMG3D, allowed one torefine of a 43\u00a0million elements mesh into a mesh comprising more than one billion\u00a0elements.
