The committee on Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities was created in 2022 to address questions related to parity, diversity and inclusion at the Inria research center of the University of Bordeaux. Our objectives are:
- to raise awareness on these questions among the agents by organizing local actions and events,
- to identify and fight against systemic exclusion mechanisms by suggesting changes to our work environment,
- to strengthen the importance of parity and equality questions by coordinating actions with different center’s departments (prevention officer, human resources, technical and general services, communication and scientific outreach).

Our partners
The committee acts as a local relay coordinating with the national Inria committee on Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities. We interact and share actions and best practices with other commissions at the University of Bordeaux: the LaBRI’s societal challenges commission, the IMB’s Mission for Parity and Equality, as well as the Equality-Diversity Mission of the University of Bordeaux.
