{"id":377,"date":"2016-04-08T15:52:18","date_gmt":"2016-04-08T13:52:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/project.inria.fr\/peach\/?p=377"},"modified":"2016-04-17T14:02:31","modified_gmt":"2016-04-17T12:02:31","slug":"april-deployment-day-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/peach\/april-deployment-day-1\/","title":{"rendered":"April Deployment, day 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\">8 April 2016, Mendoza, Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we went with the whole team to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/inta.gob.ar\/junin\" target=\"_blank\">INTA Junin<\/a> experimental agricultural station to visit the\u00a0orchard in which we will deploy our low-power wireless mesh network.\u00a0We started by\u00a0some presentations to highlight the problem we are addressing and the technology we are using. The orchard we are deploying in consists of 205 peach trees planted in a 110m by 50m area. We are using Linear Technology&#8217;s long-range prototype motes to connect the orchard to the gateway, some 380m away.<\/p>\n<style type=\"text\/css\">\n#foogallery-gallery-311.fg-justified .fg-item
