Consider holding a workshop at the IEEE 34th International Symposium on Computer Architecture and High Performance Computing (SBAC-PAD) 2022? Now is the time to prepare and submit your proposal!
SBAC-PAD Workshops are half- or full-day events for presentations, discussion, and interaction covering various fields of interest in High Performance Computing and associated fields. Computer architecture, parallel computing, scheduling, supercomputing, cloud computing, performance and any HPC topic that might be of interest to SBAC-PAD attendees is welcome.
Workshop Proposal Guidelines
Proposals should include the following information:
- Workshop title, acronym and preference for length (half or full-day)
- Information of the organizers, including a short bio of each organizer (5-10 lines)
- A tentative program committee (10-15 members)
- Motivation of the workshop:
- scientific objective
- interest to the SBAC-PAD community (being an HPC topic is sufficient, related topics should be motivated)
- positioning with respect to currently existing SBAC-PAD workshops (if applicable)
- Description of the workshop:
- content,
- format (contributed papers, invited talks, panels, posters or any other kind of scientific/technical activity),
- organizational aspects
- Workshop background (number of previous editions jointly with SBAC-PAD for instance)
- Link to international projects/initiatives
SBAC-PAD intends to produce a single proceedings volume for all of its workshops to be made available online in the IEEE Xplore digital library. However, if applicable and clearly justified, workshop organizers may consider an appropriate specific publisher for their own proceedings.
Workshop proposals are peer-reviewed by a committee of experts. Each proposal will have at least three reviewers. The peer review process is single-blind.
Upon acceptance, workshop organizers who intend to consider a special publication initiative (like a special issue of a journal) after the workshop, should provide their authors with the necessary information about this initiative on the website.
SBAC-PAD22 workshops will be held on November 2 (Wednesday), November 4 (Friday), and November 5 (Saturday) 2022, at the University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux, FRANCE.
Submission
Workshop proposals should be sent by email in PDF format to the general workshop co- chairs (see below). Proposals should contain the information detailed above in the Workshop Proposal Guidelines.
