Edito - November 2016

With this edition, we would like to remind the open calls to support International research collaborations, as we all know how important they are!!

We are also very happy to put under the spotlight two of our colleagues:

• Dr Nina Miolane, 2016 postdoc laureate of Inria@SiliconValley and member of the Inria-Stanford associate team GEOMSTATS, got awarded a L’Oréal-UNESCO fellowship for “Women in Science” for her virtual patient research in the category “Exploring the brain, a new world to conquer”.

• Prof. Roberto Di Cosmo is the co-founder and CEO of Software Heritage, the universal software archive, which is an essential initiative to collect, preserve and share the scientific and technical knowledge that is increasingly embedded in the software source code. Please visit the Software Heritage web site and consider becoming part of the community, if not already.

Last but not least, this edition features the ITSNAP associate team that has been investigating Intelligent techniques for structures of nucleic acids and proteins.

Enjoy reading and feel free to get in touch to share news or simply ask questions about Inria@SiliconValley!
