Edito - June 2016

Welcome to the new version of the Inria@SiliconValley Newsletter, thanks to Tania Castro! This new version improves the readability of the news while keeping presenting you with 4 news every month, an agenda of the upcoming events and an interview. We hope you enjoy it and we encourage you to send us news about your Inria-California collaborations you would like to advertise (research projects , awards, scientist visits, workshops etc.)!

In this edition you will be able to read (and check out the pictures!) about the 6th annual Inria@SiliconValley workshop that took place in Paris on June 8-10. We would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank all the speakers, panelists, moderators and participants who attended this 6th Inria@SiliconValley annual meeting, making it, yet again, a fruitful event for all!

Also featured this month:

• A presentation of the DALHIS associate team between MYRIADS Inria team and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab

• Takeaways from the Smart City Techmeeting organized in San Francisco

• NETVA 2016 laureates among which 5 Inria start-ups

• A save the date for the 37th International Summer School of Automatic Control

• George Koulieris, Inria@SiliconValley Post-Doc fellow, presenting his work

Enjoy reading!
