Edito - July/August 2016

Before the summer break, we would like to advertise upcoming calls to support your research:

As you know Inria@SiliconValley fosters the creation of Associate Teams with California and therefore we encourage you to submit proposals! Note that projects with CITRIS (Berkeley) are eligible to submit to the CITRIS seed funding (conditions apply).

• The ANR-NSF call for projects within the NSF-PIRE programme with deadline for pre-proposals on September 14th. For the French side, ANR will publish the details of the objectives and modalities of this collaboration late July 2016.

Also featured this month:

• A presentation of the FASTLA associate team between HIEPACS Inria team in Bordeaux, Stanford University and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab

• The outcome report from the US-Europe workshop on NGIoT that took place last March at USC, identifying keys challenges and directions for research efforts in the NGIoT field

• An interview of Chedy Raïssy who has been selected to participate to the Frontier Development Lab at NASA Ames and SETI institute from June 27th to August 5th

Have a nice summer and see you in September !
