May-June 2015

Edito

It has already been a month since the 2015 edition of the annual Inria@SiliconValley workshop was held. Many thanks to the organization team, speakers and attendees who contributed to make it a successfull event. Feel free to visit the pages of the event on the Inria@SiliconValley web site to know more. And, we hope the workshop nurtured plenty of ideas for new collaborations !!

We recall the undertaking of those collaborations may in particular be supported by the dedicated programs of the Inria international affairs department among which:

- The Inria International chairs - see  news
- The Associate Team program - call to be launched early July

And, with this June edition, we are happy to share information about the following ongoing research collaborations:

- The BIGDATANET Associate Team between the ZENITH Inria team and UC Santa Barbara;

- The post-doctoral research of Gylfi Gudmundsson that takes part in the context of a collaboration between the LINKMEDIA Inria team and the AMPLab of UC Berkeley;

- The Inria International chair holder John Canny with the WILLOW Inria team.

Last but not least, we would like to highlight the publication of the 2011-14 activity report of Inria@SiliconValley that surveys the various activities of the program since its creation in 2011, including the fruitfull collaborations that have been launched so far.
