Collaborations between\u00a0Inria project-teams and American Universities have been developing for many years, thus providing a strong basis for addressing\u00a0scientific, economic and societal challenges on international priorities, in the context of win-win partnerships.<\/p>\n
Since 2011<\/strong>, Inria runs “Inria@SiliconValley”<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span> <\/span>an active scientific joint program with California universities, that initially started with\u00a0UC Berkeley and Stanford University, and has now expanded to all California partners .<\/strong><\/p>\n The program :<\/p>\n From 2010 to 2018, an Inria senior researcher was in charge of supervising and animating the program and of fostering new collaborative projects:<\/p>\n \u2022 Malik Ghallab (2010- 2011) This program supports joint research projects called\u00a0associate teams,<\/a>\u00a0each of them involving a research group from a California university and one from an\u00a0Inria research center<\/a>.
