We would be delighted to welcome you to the Winter School on Social Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia (SoRAIM)<\/strong>, that will take place at the Escandille<\/a><\/strong> (maps<\/a>) in Autrans <\/strong>(in the Vercors mountains, near Grenoble) from February 9th to 13th, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the school is to bring together researchers from complementary fields<\/strong>\u2014such as computer vision, speech\/audio processing, and human-robot interaction\u2014who share a common interest in social robotics<\/strong>. The event aims to foster cross-disciplinary exchange and discussion, both through formal courses and informal interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set in the beautiful Vercors mountains, the school takes place in Autrans, a scenic and easily accessible location from Grenoble, offering many opportunities for outdoor activities and informal networking<\/strong> in a relaxed atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will have the change to listen to top-level expert speakers<\/a><\/strong> proposing talks that blend their perspective of the field<\/strong> with their current research<\/strong>. The topics of the school are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. human-robot interaction and social robotics (Prof. Silvia Rossi),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. conversational speech synthesis (Prof. \u00c9va Sz\u00e9kely),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. computer vision (and beyond) for robot\/social navigation (Dr. Christian Wolf),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. multi-modal multi-person dialogue (Prof. Jo\u00e3o Magalh\u00e3es),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. experimental psychology and social robotics (Dr. Maribel Pino),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. natural language processing (Prof. Eric Gaussier),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. hands-on session on human-robot interaction (Lorenzo Ferrini).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
