From december 1st to december 12th.<\/li>\n<li> Kerlyns Mart\u00ednez and H\u00e9ctor Olivero have been accepted into the EU COST Action STOCHASTICA and have joined the working group led by Mireille Bossy on Stochastic systems and statistical methods. <\/li>\n   <li>Paul Maurer&#8217;s PhD defence held in November 14th at Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur: <strong>Analyse et approximation de quelques \u00e9quations diff\u00e9rentielles stochastiques pour la mod\u00e9lisation de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes non diffusifs<\/strong>, advised by Mireille Bossy.<\/li>\n    <li>Francisco Bernal&#8217;s engineering defence held in August 29th at Universidad de Valpara\u00edso: <strong>Stochastic modeling of the movement of Chilean abalone and red sea urchin larvae to evaluate the effect of changes in environmental salinity<\/strong>, advised by Kerlyns Martinez and H\u00e9ctor Olivero.<\/li>\n<li>On May, we participate with a poster in the <a href=\"https:\/\/anneedelamer.nice.fr\/agenda\/festival-des-sciences-ocean\/\">Ocean Festival<\/a> in Nice.  <\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to know more, visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/swam\/events\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"268\">Events<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-heading\" \n    style=\"background-color:#484848; font-style:normal; font-weight:900; padding:5px 10px;\">\nWhat&#8217;s next?\n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regarding the flow modelling:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We plan to conduct a sensitivity analysis to identify potential improvements and to analyse the spatial extent of local changes in coastal environments attributable to brine discharges.
