The invloved PhD students are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dareen shehadeh<\/li>\n<li>Samantha Gamboa<\/li>\n<li>Ahmad-Mahbubul Alam<\/li>\n<li>Navikkumar Modi<\/li>\n<li>Laudin Molina<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We mainly study three different aspects, which are the following:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"aui_3_4_0_1_1027\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/tepn\/wlan-density1\">WLAN Density:<\/a> what is the WLAN density in urban area, how can we characterize the network using crowd sourcing and applications from the AP data base<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/tepn\/trade-off-ee-se1\">Trade-of between energy efficiency (EE) and Spectral efficiency (SE)<\/a>: from a theory perpective, is there an optimum between EE and SE using a given number of BS<\/li>\n<li id=\"aui_3_4_0_1_1026\"><a href=\"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/tepn\/on-off-solutions\">Switching BS\/AP On and Off<\/a>: in order to adapt to user density, we developed serveral algorithms to switch on and off AP\/BS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this part of the project, we are working on network breathing and energy efficiency versus spectral efficiency.
