Due to the ongoing 2019 Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, UCAncer\u00a0 (initially planned June 15-16, then November 16-17, 2020) has been postponed to October 25-26 2021<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\n

Cancer is a complex group of diseases challenging science and medicine. Over the years, it has become evident that an integrated approach encompassing traditional disciplines such as biology, data science and statistics, computer science, applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, physio-pathology and medicine was mandatory to understand and classify cancers, and envision effective treatments.<\/p>\n

The Symposium “Multidisciplinary Approaches in Cancer Research” perfectly illustrates this perspective, as the two day program features leading experts from the aforementioned disciplines, whose keynote lectures will cover the following themes:<\/p>\n

Session 1: Chemical biology for cancer therapy
\nSession 2: Personalized and translational medicine
\nSession 3: Mathematical models of tumor growth
\nSession 4: Network and systems biology of cancer
\nSession 5: Response to cancer treatment
\nSession 6: Industrial transfer: local success stories<\/p>\n

France\u00a0has made it obligatory to show a\u00a0passe sanitaire<\/em>\u00a0(health pass) \u2013 proving that you are vaccinated or have tested negative for Covid-19 \u2013 for access to events venues.<\/p>\n
