The next edition, <a href=\"https:\/\/wifs2018.comp.polyu.edu.hk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WIFS 2018<\/a>, will take place in Hong-Kong, December 11-13, 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It<em> was<\/em> our great pleasure to welcome you in Rennes, Brittany, France, for the <strong>9th IEEE International Workshop on Information Forensics and Security (WIFS) 2017<\/strong>. The workshop took place\u00a0at Inria Rennes from December 4, to December 7, 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">WIFS is the primary annual event organised by the IEEE Information Forensics and Security (IFS) Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, with the co-sponsorship of the IEEE Biometrics Council. Its major objective is to bring together researchers from relevant disciplines to exchange new ideas and the latest results and to discuss emerging challenges in different areas of information security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">WIFS 2017 featured keynote lectures, tutorials, technical sessions.\u00a0Topics of interest broadly include (but are not limited to):\u00a0Forensics Analysis,\u00a0Biometrics, Secure Communication, Multimedia Security, Infirmation Theoretic Security, Cybersecurity, Hardware Security, Surveillance, Network Security, Applied Cryptography (See the <a href=\"https:\/\/project.inria.fr\/wifs2017\/program\/program-highlights\/\">program<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The organization committee<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WIFS 2017 is over.
