Adaptive Dynamical Approximations via Parallel Tensor methods

 

 

The project ADAPT has the following objectives:

1. Define and investigate dynamical methods and algorithms that adapt the tensor ranks, formats and terms to fulfil error criteria on the solution.
2. Introduce a communication avoiding paradigm for the parallelisation of tensor construction, completion and multi-linear system solving.
3. Apply these methods to Kinetic Theory and Uncertainty Quantification.
