AIM: AI and Mechanics

AIM is a MIAI-Cluster-AI funded chair focused on the development of physics-based artificial intelligence methods to bridge particle-scale mechanics, experiments, and continuum models for complex materials.
The project combines mechanics, high-fidelity simulations, laboratory observations, and scientific machine learning to build robust predictive models for granular and complex materials.
