A posteriori error estimates for EFIE in electromagnetism

We present a localization technique which allows to construct a reliable, efficient and local a posteriori error estimate for the Electric Field Integral Equation (EFIE). This one is based on the choice of a generic operator which is used to transport the residual into L2 -type space. Under appropriate conditions on the construction of this operator, we show that it is asymptotically exact with respect to an energy norm of the error.
