The HistorIA project gathers researchers in History, Digital Humanities, and Information Visualization, to create and develop large historical databases, and to apply data mining and exploratory analysis methods to these databases to support data-driven research in the humanities.
In particular, HistorIA relies on multivariate and dynamic network analysis, highlighting an iterative approach of the analyses focused on the appropriation of the exploratory tools by historians and sociologists. HistorIA develops and relies on explainable algorithms and methods, and on progressive data analysis.
