Venue

The workshop will take place in the amphitheater of the building of the presidency of the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour, located in the heart of the town of Pau.

The university is easily accessible by bus from the city center (10 minutes). It is therefore recommended to stay in a hotel in the city center.

Map of the campus The venue is marked-up in red and the closest bus stop (stop “Condorcet” of line F or “FEBUS” from the city center) in blue. There is a bus every 10 minutes from the city center and it takes approximately 12 minutes + a 10 minutes walk at the university. The bus stop in the city center is called “Place d’Espagne – Bosquet”.  You can type “Place d’Espagne – Bosquet, 64000 Pau” to “Condorcet – Université Quai B, 64000 Pau” on Google Maps.

The dinner on Thursday 19 will take place at La Brochetterie in the old city center, 16 rue Henry IV, close to the castle, just in front of the church Saint-Martin. See the map.

Pau is located in the southwest of France, close to both the Pyrenees Mountains which form the natural border with Spain and the Atlantic Ocean. For more information, visit the Wikipedia page.

Pau airport (PUF) offers several connections per day with Paris airports (CDG and Orly). The flight takes about 1.5 hour.

Pau is also accessible by train (TGV) from Bordeaux (2.5 hours) and Paris (4.5 hours).
