The SINGIT Associate Team, a joint initiative between Inria ERMINE (Rennes, France) and IIT Delhi (India), has been officially approved for the 2026–2029 period. This new team brings together complementary expertise in IoT networks, artificial intelligence, wireless communications, and sustainable networking to design the next‑generation Intelligent Internet of Things.
SINGIT will focus on three main axes: dynamic QoS‑aware prioritization for heterogeneous IoT traffic, AI‑driven orchestration across the IoT–edge–cloud continuum, and energy‑ and spectrum‑efficient resource allocation for large‑scale deployments. The team will validate its solutions on key application domains such as smart grids, healthcare monitoring, and environmental sensing, in alignment with recent 3GPP 5G‑Advanced evolutions.
This approval marks an important step in strengthening long‑term Franco‑Indian collaboration, supported by Inria on the French side and with co‑funding requested via DST–CEFIPRA on the Indian side.
