Introduction
INRIA
is the National Research Institute in Digital Sciences and Technologies. World-class research, technological innovation and entrepreneurial risk constitute its DNA. Within 220 project teams, most of them joint with major research universities, more than 3,800 scientists are exploring new avenues, often interdisciplinarity and in collaboration with industrial partners to respond to ambitious challenges. A technological institute, INRIA supports the diversity of paths to innovation: from open source software publishing to the creation of technological startups (Deeptech).
The physical infrastructure at INRIA named Sophia
, consists of many facilities on-site and off-site for testing, validation and evaluation of AI and Robotic Technology within AgrifoodTEF framework, is located at the INRIA Center of Côte d’Azur University in Sophia-Antipolis, France. It is managed by the ACENTAURI robotic team that studies and develop intelligent, autonomous and mobile robots that can help humans in their day-to-day lives at home, at work or during their displacements. The team focuses on perception, decision and control problems for multi-robot collaboration by proposing an original hybrid model-driven / data driven approach to artificial intelligence and by investigating efficient quantum algorithms. The team deals with robotic applications in smart territories, smart cities and smart factories.
The facilities
are the physical installations, which play the central role in TEF physical infrastructure for testing, validation and evaluation of the physical services, using different equipment.

Facilties
In AgrifoodTEF framework, the physical facilities fall in four categories:
Fixed Facility
: in this category, the facility is fixed (but can be located at different place in case of a multi-sites organization of the partners), and is used for (evaluation/test/benchmarking or data acquisition).Reconfigurable Facility
: the facility is fixed, but the environment can be customized for the service execution (evaluation/test/benchmarking or data acquisition).Movable Facility
: in that case, the place is defined by the need of the customer. The facility is moved to the place in order to realize the service on a particular site for evaluation/ test/ benchmarking or data acquisition.Land Facility
: this facility is a piece of land/crops/culture that can be used for evaluation/test/benchmarking or data acquisition
One facility may fall under more than one category at a same time.
