Stellar performance of Team Brasil at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence

Congrats to Team Brazil for their stellar performance at the third edition of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI): AI-Native Robotics Award, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals, and 1 honorable mention. These four students, aged 15 to 18, were selected after a national competition, the Olimpíada Nacional de Inteligência Artificial (ONIA), with around 965,000 students,

The final phase of the competition was carried out with the support of the Artificial Intelligence Institute of LNCC using its Santos Dumont supercomputer from Bull as computational infrastructure.

Thanks to PhD student Gabriela Moraes Botaro and Inria International Chair Fabio Porto for their coaching and support of Team Brazil. Note that Gabriela will be at Inria Montpellier (Boreal and Iroko teams) this fall for an Inria internship.
