Travel
By train, the Modane Railway Station is located 8 km from the Centre Paul Langevin.
By car, directions for Chambéry, then A43 highway to Modane (Le Freney).
Close-by Airports, Lyon, Chambéry, Torino, Geneva.
Train schedules can be found here. A fast tramway, the Rhône-Express shuttle, links the Lyon Part-Dieu train station and the Lyon St Exupéry airport, every 15 minutes.
On Sunday 14th, very few trains are arriving at Modane. To circumvent this, we will organize two shuttle buses from Lyon St Exupéry airport to Aussois with a stop at Chambéry-Challes-les-Eaux train station (easily reachable by train from Paris, Lyon Part Dieu, Grenoble, etc.) and a stop at Modane train station. The first shuttle will leave around 4:15 pm (after the arrival of the British Airways flight from London Heathrow), pass by Chambéry at 5:30pm, by Modane at 7pm and arrive at Aussois at 7:30pm. The second bus will leave the airport at 7pm, pass by Chambéry at 8:20pm, by Modane at 9:50pm and arrive at Aussois at 10:20pm.
On Friday 19th, trains to various destinations will leave Modane train station at 11:55am, 1:30pm, 3:49pm (earlier and later trains are also available, see). We will organize one shuttle leaving Aussois at 11am, making a stop at Modane train station at 11:30am and then directly continuing to Lyon St Exupéry Airport (arrival around 2pm). A second bus will leave Aussois at 2:30pm and will stop at Modane station at 3pm (no connection to Lyon airport).

For those who will need to perform a COVID antigen test prior to leaving Aussois, we will organize a session during the week.

Fees (including course fees and full board accommodation)
Housing fees and meals at Centre Paul-Langevin are comprised in the registration fees, with full board from diner on Sunday 14th to lunch on Friday 19th (Note that no meal will be available for the participants arriving with the second shuttle on Sun 14th and that a take-away meal will be available for those taking the first shuttle on Fri 19th):
