Dear Shanoir community,
I hope you are doing great.
We will release a new major version of ShanoirUploader before end of June!
This new version will bring some quite interesting extensions/changes:
- New look for the GUI
- DICOM Push (c-store)
- Today ShUp works by Query/Retrieve (c-find + c-move), the new version of ShUp
will allow to push (c-store) a DICOM study into ShUp (same host/IP/port as usual)
and will add a new line to your import tab, to finish your import into Shanoir server. - This allows, when an instance of ShUp is running inside a center and known to the PACS
to directly push into ShUp, where an user can then send the import to Shanoir server.
- Today ShUp works by Query/Retrieve (c-find + c-move), the new version of ShUp
- ImportDialog: filter study list
- You might have access to quite some studies on Shanoir to do your imports. With the new major release you can filter on your study list to more easily find your desired study.
- No study cards
- The option to use ShUp without study cards, depending how the individual study your are importing into is configured. If the study requires study cards, same as today, if not you can import without any study card.
- Examination consistency check
- You can switch on a flag in ShUp, that once the import on the server is finished and an hour has gone by, to verify on the Shanoir server, that each DICOM image is well available in Shanoir server for download. The local DICOM image attributes and PixelData are compared for each image to assure the highest consistency of your data, once transferred to the server.
- Mass export/import via Excel (mass extraction+import)
- The feature to target a DICOM server (PACS) by using an Excel table for hundreds of subjects
has been matured and tested now in multiple cases in 2 clinical centers.
- The feature to target a DICOM server (PACS) by using an Excel table for hundreds of subjects
With kind regards,
Michael, for the Shanoir developer team
