As a result of multiple user forums organized, the Shanoir development team has released the new search four weeks ago. The new search proposes two modes: easy and expert (with very complex search queries). The new search is very fast and allows to filter in seconds between hundreds of thousands of datasets (Apache Solr, 500.000 datasets in prod today). Even more filters (sliceThickness, magneticField) have been added. The new search proposes a “shopping basket” concept, see selection tab, where all previously, with multiple search queries collected datasets can be overviewed and downloaded.
