A.Fondaneche (Inria) completed a short secondment at Optimad of 2 weeks in mid March working on high-fidelity monolithic model for the simulation of fluid-structure interactions (FSI). The short secondment helps the secondee be interested in the development of a new reduced-order model (ROM) for FSI problems, based on the previous model.
In collaboration with Optimad Engineering Srl, the secondee is in charge of the implementation of a numerical scheme based on quadtree meshes using the Bitpit library which has been elaborated by the company.
