Maria Strazzullo, a secondee of ARIA Project, has been awarded the prestigious €15,000 ECCOMAS Young Investigators Committee (EYIC) Grant for her project CRAFT (Control and Reg-reduction in Applications for Flow Turbulence). Overview of CRAFT
The CRAFT project proposes an innovative framework aimed at dealing with turbulence management within fluid dynamics. Using control, reduced-order modeling techniques and regulirization. CRAFT proposes novel strategies to extend well-established control-based strategies in laminar settings to the turbulent framework, both theoretically and computationally.

CRAFT aims at providing rapid tools for fast and accurate simulations to be combined with control strategies for several applied turbulent fields.
