Registration

Registration is free and includes accommodation and meals inside the beautiful site of the Saline. Registration and call for submission of contributed talks is now closed.

Due to the high number of registration requests, not all requests could be satisfied, and latest requests were automatically placed in a waiting list.

By the end of September and close to the event, we will ask participants from the main list to firmly confirm their participation to the event. Some slots may be freed at this time, in that case we will offer these slots to participants placed in the waiting list.

To be added to the waiting list, just follow this link.

Call for contributions

Graphyz2 will include sessions dedicated to contributed oral presentations. The goal is to foster discussions and collaborations by showing ongoing work of interest to both communities.

Upon registration, you will be given the option to submit a title and a few lines of abstract. Abstracts will be selected based on their interest to a mixed (computer graphics and physics/mechanics) audience. There is no obligation for the presenter to have a record of published work at the intersection of these two fields. Student presentations are warmly encouraged. Both single and duet presentations (one computer scientist/one physicist or mechanical engineer) are welcome.

Particular attention will be given to the following themes, on which La Saline is committed on the long term:

  • medical applications
  • musical applications (motion and gestures capture)
  • biodiversity & sustainable development & landscapes
  • architectural monuments & digitization.

Other topics are welcome, such as those in this (non-exhaustive) list:

  • computational architecture, structural mechanics
  • slender bodies, shells, cloth simulation
  • granular materials
  • biological applications (plants, locomotion)
  • sport

Submitting a contribution is only optional and not mandatory for registering to the event.
