Inria launched in 2013 the “International Chairs” program in order to offer to international prestigious researchers the possibility of long visits (twelve months along five years) in Inria Project Teams.
For the 2013-2017 period, Inria will welcome two professors from Californian universities:
- Prof. Victor Vianu, UC San Diego – Inria Research Team DAHU at Saclay – Île-de-France
- Prof. John Canny, UC Berkeley – Inria Research Team WILLOW at Paris-Rocquencourt
For the 2014-2018 period, Inria will welcome :
- Prof. Mathieur Desbrun, Caltech – Inria Research Team TITANE at Sophia Antipolis
