Christine Morin, research manager at the Inria Rennes – Bretagne Atlantique research center, received the “Étoiles de l’Europe” prize last december, 16. This prize reward her implication in an european project called “Contrail, open computing infrastructures for elastic services”.
After the “Horizon 2020” forum which took place last december, 16 at the Quay Branly’s Museum (Paris), Geneviève Fioraso, Secretary of State in charge of the higher Education and Research, and Harlem Désir, Secretary of State in charge of European Affairs, delivrered the “Étoiles de l’Europe” trophies.
This trophy aims to highlight research teams for their european works.
The jury rewarded 12 laureates including 3 for their digital projects. Among them, Christine morin , head of the Myriads team.
Christine Morin is the French principal investigator of the joint research projet DALHIS with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (U.C. Berkeley) and was the scientific coordinator of the Inria@SiliconValley program from 2011 to 2013.
In 2013 the “Etoile de l’Europe” prize was awarded to Valerie Issarny, current scientific coordinator of the Inria@SiliconValley program.
